Thankful banner

This is my new project...Again its paper. I saw one in a catalog for stampin up last fall and I never made it. I used paper I had and stamps, buttons, ribbon, and brads that I already had. I havn't had a lot of time to craft, so I had to make it quick. Some of the letters are not as embelished as the stampin' up one. A website called www.inkynosestamper.com has one that looks more like the stampin' up one.

From all the little Hunt's in Huntville said...: Hey Laura, loved the letters. It gave me an idea for a Christmas gift. I would use the words from Christmas on 6x6 paper and decorate them like you did and then on the other side do some pictures of the kids as a little mini album/card for a grandparent. You actually make your crafts, I just think that would be a fun idea. Maybe I'll get around to it. Thanks for sharing all your great crafties.

You may think you don’t have talents, but that is a false assumption, for we all have talents and gifts, every one of us.5 The bounds of creativity extend far beyond the limits of a canvas or a sheet of paper and do not require a brush, a pen, or the keys of a piano. Creation means bringing into existence something that did not exist before—colorful gardens, harmonious homes, family memories, flowing laughter.
What you create doesn’t have to be perfect. So what if the eggs are greasy or the toast is burned? Don’t let fear of failure discourage you. Don’t let the voice of critics paralyze you—whether that voice comes from the outside or the inside.
If you still feel incapable of creating, start small. Try to see how many smiles you can create, write a letter of appreciation, learn a new skill, identify a space and beautify it.
